I was replacing some old one's I had in garage, pool cabana and a family room where I wanted bluetooth for remote handling of playing music, controlling volume, channel, etc. For the sale price ya cant go wrong for a basic bluetooth receiver. Has all the accessory connections I need. Bluetooth distance is good too.

And that it would be as easy to use since I had not had a receiver in 20 years! Also to be able to listen two radio stations! It was a great inexpensive purchase! I’m so happy I have it as I love music!

Simple and Easy Setup

Its under $200 and pumps out enough power for most reasonably priced speakers. This is not for the high fidelity folk who want to integrate the TV, data and other sources to play in a audiophile room but to get sound to outside speakers or bonus room type location, its perfect!

Easy to set and very basic. I didn’t get this receiver for a home theatre system, I’m just using this for my record player set up. And it works perfectly just for that, but I can see how you can also connect this to your tv to get your set up started:)

I've learned to live with it and otherwise, it serves me well.

We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with your Sony STR-DH190 while using STBY feature .
To resolve this, please try the following steps:
Distance Management: Try to keep a reasonable distance between your laptop and the receiver if possible, to avoid unintended Bluetooth interaction.
Turn Off BT Power in AMP Menu: Make sure the BT power is turned off in the AMP menu when not in use. This will prevent the receiver from automatically switching to Bluetooth mode.
Reset the Receiver will help if there is a glitch in the software:
Press (power) to turn off the receiver then press and hold (power) for 5 seconds

Zero complains other than maybe an hdmi in/out. Very good for movies! I use an HDMI splitter/audio extractor that goes between the roku and tv and you plug the RCA into this to get the audio.

Volume knob tension is tight making it purposely difficult to be accidentally turned up too high. This, I would imagine would be ideal when there’s small children about.

The remote makes it easy to swap from Phono to any of the inputs. I am very happy with it so far.
