Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We purchased this receiver to replace a far older model also by Sony, after suffering through continual sound problems of extreme static, and sound lost with almost every other word. One of us watches with a headset plugged into the front and the other without a headset, so we required a means to achieve that. After connecting our multi CD player, DVD Player and TV, he suggested a headset splitter to be able to duplicate what we had, and told us how to install it. After purchasing one, we did as he said, and it's working perfectly.

I got tired of sound bars and peripheral speakers and went back to a 2 channel unit. It may not have all the ambiance of of the multi-channel units but it sounds great in my family room. The only minus is the lack of an optical input.

I have a man cave with large 3 way speakers and a subwoofer and play concerts. The treble/bass control is nice on the remove. I added an equalizer to it for better sound still. Great value!

Great 2 Channel Amp/Receiver

The Bluetooth range is incredible. I was all the way upstairs and outside probably 40 feet away through floors and walls and it was still connected and playing.

Only thing that could make it better would be to have some light on front of receiver to help you see the controls. Especially on/off. I have mine in a cabinet and it is very difficult to find / see.

Excellent Choice for my Home Nuvo System

Definitely a better more modern style versus the older outdated ones with no Bluetooth capabilities.

Two channel with optional a and b switch. Blue tooth works great. I bought it to be used as my High rear speaker channels for atmos on speaker selection a. Speaker selection b is for outside speakers.
