All elevators undergo an annual testing (‘no load’ testing). However, traction Elevators are required to complete a Full Load test every 5 years. During the full load test, weights are put in the elevator so that it contains 125% of its rated capacity. The elevator is run above rated speed in order to trip the governor. Radio antenna doesn't work to good but really dont use it. Might be because of the metal roof. Would recommend if youre in the market.
