Terrific low-cost Sony 5.2 Channel 4k Receiver.

I bought this Sony Receiver and a small Fosi 100w mono channel subwoofer amp to re-purpose the passive subwoofer from the Sony DAV-FR1 and my surround sound system in my bedroom is back in business.

So Far, So Good

(Older unit started to shut itself off, 8 years old now). All I wanted to do was upgrade main units, and this does the job. The picture quality is actually better on standard cable than my older model. Only cons to this unit is I lost 1 HMDI out, and I wish it had a manual auto-volume control button like the previous model. Otherwise, we love it
