All of my movies and music really come to life. It has crystal clear sound that really pushes my 8 ohm aftermarket speakers and powered sub. I could even hook up a second sub as well. Plenty of hookups for all of my new and old devices. The on screen menu is easy to navigate and use. It even has more depth and clarity at low volume and in Night Mode compared to my old system. I highly recommend it.

Amazing for the price!

This was is 20× better. Yes it does not have wifi, but for it its supposed to do, it does it great. Good power all around and the subwoofer rocks. High-quality for sure from Sony!

I wanted to set up a 2.1 home theater and the only way I could is by using the TV's headphone output into the receiver. It would have been nicer to use the HDMI ARC but 2.1 doesn't seem to be supported.

Perfect amp for a turntable

Good little receiver

It is a proprietary connector and will not work with any other 3rd party antennas and Sony does not make a powered antenna.

My 4K ultra HD Theater Receiver

It is more up dated from the one I purchased a few years ago I am enjoying listening to my connected blue ray player cd changer

I would have given it 5 stars, but I am having difficulty getting any FM stations. I've bought an additional antenna, but there is no way to hook it to the receiver. Still trying to figure it out or I am going to return it and upgrade.
