Great budget/starter AVR

Excellent sound

I understand what surround sound is but when I'm watching the normal TV (not a movie) or the kids are watching cartoons, I'd like the sound to come out of all the speakers including the rear ones. That way I don't have to crank up the volume just to hear what they are saying and so it's not so loud when there is any kind of music. I tried all the settings and gave it awhile, but not it's past the return date and I'm STUCK with it.
