Got this reciever on sale when upgrading to home theater surround sound from soundbar. Perfect for anyone interested in better home audio. Also has multiple HDMI ports to minimize cluttered cords and plays all your content in 4K.

I love this receiver and the price. I was afraid it was going to have some type of issues but I haven’t noticed anything yet.

Omg one receiver you need to have. Really good and easy to setup. Must have if you are looking for one.

The receiver is nice and sleek and pretty small for a small AV shelf or cabinet. it has 4 HDMI inputs and plenty of modes such at 2 channel, movie, music etc. It doesn't have two zones or those fancy upgrades but for the price it is worth it.

So far this surround system has pretty good sound, it is a step up from the 200 dollar Yamaha receivers. The HDR is finally on all HDMI ports with Dolby Vision support as well. I think it's an average sounding system with fare dynamics for the price.

Incredibly pleased with this receiver so far. Love the Bluetooth and WiFi options for streaming music. Has plenty of power to drive my 5.1 home theater in a 2 story great room. Integrates easily into any tv setup but works perfectly with other Sony components.

great unit for the price, was easy to connect. solved the problem i had for my add on devices that my old unit couldnt handle

I replaced my old makeshift receiver with this unit. I really like all the HDMI passthrough inputs. My old setup I had to pickup sound and send it to receiver separately. The power this unit puts out is amazing for its price. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a good setup without breaking the bank. I have a set of JBL speakers hooked to the analog out and at 20 the volume is loud enough to shake the room with bass. I have some other Sony speakers from my other setup that are bookshelf speakers and paired with the JBL's gives a good "movie theater" sound at that volume level. The unit has a "night mode" that says it mutes some of the bass, but you will still want to turn the volume down to around 10-12 to keep from waking people up in the house. I really like the Bluetooth connectivity. I can put on YouTube and jam while in other parts of the house.

Love it, only issue is its limited to 60hz video at 4k

We got it for our home entertain set up. We had some surround sound Klipsh speakers and they work great together. Great sound and picture quality thru our TV

A nice upgrade, from a 10 year old Yamaha reciever, 145 per channel plus the capability of 2 subwoofers and Bluetooth...Thanks again for Sony products...but that's what I say ever time I turn on my 25 yr old Sony reciever!!

Replacement for earlier model, set-up was very easy, which included to smart TV, cable, Playstation. Note that if you have issues with a "protect" error message you need to check your speakers and/or wiring.

After my 10 year old Sony started to not work as well as it once did, I decided to get a new one. The sound of my Definitive Technology speakers have never sounded this good and the clarity on the television is unbelievable. I should have never waited...

Forget soundbars. Give me a good ol' receiver and let me enjoy movies like they were meant to be enjoyed. This receiver also has a sound field called pure direct for the amateur audiophile. It lets you enjoy your music only through your front speakers-real nice feature.

I purchased this Sony receiver to replace the older one that I had. This is an excellent receiver with Bluetooth connection. It’s also great for Amazon Firestick users as it has a dedicated port to plug you can use.

Great value on this Sony receiver. I recently purchased a home that had in the ceiling speakers. We looked at the gamut of mid-to-high range receivers and listen to many devices. For the price this Tony is such a great deal

This receiver is a great buy especially at sale price. It may not have a million features but honestly does every item we own need to be 'smart'? Upgrading from my old 6 year old receiver to this I noticed a big increase in sound quality even though I kept the speakers.

I've got this receiver hooked up to my Samsung TV, Blu-Ray player and some Klipsch bookshelf speakers. The sound is clean. The receiver responds to my Samsung remotes. Most important to me was that all the signals pass through the receiver even in standby mode.
