Great receiver except...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The receiver sounds great and does a terrific job of decoding 5.1 audio. Center channel is robust and surround speakers fill in nicely. My only complaint is the unit itself has a very noticeable hum that I'm guessing is the power transformer. Sony says it isn't normal and wants to repair. I'm not inclined to try a repair and am deciding whether to live with it or return it and try another one.

Sounds good with Bose speakers
