So Good That I Bought a Second One

I can remember when flat screen TV's and audio receivers were much more expensive than they are today. That said, I now have three surround sound systems with large screen TV's in my house. One of them had a Home Theater Receiver similar to this Sony. When one of the other receivers failed, I waited for this new Sony receiver to go on sale. It checks all of the boxes for performance and has a simple and intuitive remote that makes operation easy and enjoyable. With Bluetooth no less! The failed receiver remote was so complicated that I know I never took advantage of all of its functionality. No matter how good the video for shows or games - The experience just isn't the same without quality audio.

I Love This Receiver

It is super easy to use and works great with my surround speakers. This is a no brain buy if you are looking to setup an entertainment area.

Great for my needs

Good Budget Receiver

Easy upgrade

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded to this unit from another Sony home theater receiver that was 10 years old and still going strong, but didn't support 4K or newer audio encoding (to match my new-ish Sony TV) or a bluetooth source, which the new one does. The swap was easy, just moving cables and connections from the old unit to the new. It worked from the start. I like the automated speaker level setting capability - it worked the first time. A bonus is that I can now (mostly) operate all my devices (Sony and otherwise) using just the Sony TV's remote control. I'm very happy.

Great sound and easy setup

Setup was easy and I found this receiver looked a little better than the other receivers that were on display. For the on sale price I highly recommend it.

Great sound, good price

It was easy to set up, and really filled the room. I used my original Sony speakers with no issues. On top of all that it looks great too.

Replaced old garage stereo, wish i would have sooner,love the Bluetooth, 145 watts per channel, i added a pair of tower speakers for surround .

Solid power and sound!

The sound is good; setup was relatively easy. I would suggest, if not owned, purchasing TV with the bells and whistles that will maximize what this receivers capabilities.
