PERFECT RECEIVER AT A GREAT PRICE!!

I got it, the center speaker and the sub woofer all on sale and saved literally $300! It is kinda difficult to navigate without a smart TV that you can bring the program up on the screen. You need the manual in front of you BUT once you get familiar with it you will have not problem. I got rid of a 1985 surround sound system (Sony) that I had because the tower speakers were huge and it started having issues. I love the facet that it comes with a calibration microphone to set all the speakers perfect. I am VERY happy with my purchases and cannot stay out of my man cave lately.

If your OK wih the one thing....then DANG!

OK, so there is this one thing. Every time you turn on your receiver/TV (using ARC), you will get a splash screen for setup and it CANNOT be dismissed or told to NEVER COME ON. I suspect this is why I was able to buy my receiver for only $200 (open box)! If you are a home theater enthusiast, on a budget and you don't mind clicking two more buttons, then this is a GREAT buy. OH YEAH! - mine did not come with a remote, which almost swayed me, until I fond it on EBAY for $13 and bought it before I even left Best Buy with the receiver.

Simple small scale receiver

Connections were not an issue for the items I would be using. The hurdles I have experienced sometimes are with turning on and off the receiver and sometimes the sources and surround parameters. Hasnt been a major issue but sometimes becomes a bit of a hassle. I have been using the Comcast remote because that is my provider. That may be a part of the problem. Overall its a good unit with plenty of power for the space.
