Sony works at being great.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony has been a go to brand for the better part of 40 years for myself. i use this product to drive a pair of Klipsch La Scalla with the top volume of 3 out of ten. the market today has power amplifier prices that are inconsistent with quality. this has a clean looped sound from a Yamaha network amp. and i am sure it would be great in your home theater as it is in my garage.

Tried new cables before searching web discovering others with same problem. Searched for reviews on number of places Lifewire, Cord Cutters and then from Amazon, Crutchfield and Best Buy. Even though had not bought a Sony in years went with this unit and Best Buy "Curb Side" pick up, love that by the way. Wow! Great Sound. What a great difference. For that price? Happy, happy!!!

Just installed for a client and love the calibration feature for the surround sound. Also was able to run two subs to really fill the room with low end energy.

It's paired to two polk stereos and into a polk sub. I use it for my gaming PC's audio via optical and i love it. Bluetooth is crisp, my pc sounds amazing, and I can't imagine going back. There are multiple areas for additions if i desire so and the design fits in perfectly with my setup. It does get dusty, but I use a data vac for that.

Receiver has many options to get the sound you want. Paired this receiver with Sony floorstanding speakers, Sony active subwoofer, a Teac CD player (with USB connection) and a Audio-Technica turntable. Couldn't be happier how the system turned out! The Best Buy technician was very helpful guiding me through the purchase/setup process. The Sony display at the store was what sold me.
