Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.mi apartment is on the 7th floor next to the H-1 freeway. steady stream of traffic. i have 4 bose speakers, 2 sony woofers & a center speaker for a complete set. i rock on the freeway with sony with no complaints. it's heaven. highly recommend if u have a steady stream i.e. 'freeway'. just 'rock baby'.

Perfect receiver for a Sony tv

It works perfectly with minimal configuration. One remote operation. It turns on and off automatically with the tv and volume is controlled by the tv remote. This was an open box item in excellent condition. Very satisfied.

The setting options are at first daunting and then become crystal clear, sensible, and enjoyable to manipulate. There is a plethora of listening choices for various imputs and accomodates with its many HDMI imputs a host of devices,

Struggles to handle any speaker wire thicker than the least expensive option, but overall the unit works well and has features you would expect a receiver to have in 2025.. The remote is basic, but fine. You get what you pay for with this receiver.

We had a quote from someone after building the new house. Wiring was pre-speaker and I was concerned about doing it myself. But this was simple and sounds great. The quote included a Yamaha. But we love Sony and I compared the two models and chose this one instead. Everything we have except for the Jammo 8' woofer is Sony, and it didn't disappoint.

Needing to replace speakers and rewired them so it’s taking a bit to actually enjoy this system. However, it was recommended and I’m hopeful that it will meet expectation.

Not impressed with how best buy shipped to my house. Had I not been home when the package showed up I would have had a box sitting outside advertising what it was. They sent in manufacturers box not some Nondescript box. Again I am glad I was home when it showed or who know what porch pirate may have ended up with it.
