Good value for the money. If you want all the movie sounds on a budget receiver, this is it. Great woofer, mid-range and treble sound. 4K looks great.

Well, my last surround sound receiver died and technology had changed so bought this receiver and plugged in the Chromecast and fire stick into it .. works like a charm! Have a few more ports, but until the next new thing they are empty. Great sound, far better than my last receiver and far easier to setup.

Bought it to use for my outdoor speakers. Mostly Bluetooth function with my iPhone or alexa. Works good. Easy to set up and sounds decent.

The component was easy to hook up, was well packaged, and is operating properly as of now. No issues thus far, and staff at Best Buy were very helpful.

Simple receiver that sounds great!...Easy Setup but you will still want to tweak the settings to fit your needs. Some settings are on screen and others are done through the remote menu which can be a bit confusing which is the only reason I wouldn't rate it 5 stars.

This receiver has a very classic look. As soon as you power it on, the set up begins on screen. Each time a movie is player through the DVD player, it calibrates to ensure you are receiving the best sound. Low profile design to fit the smallest spaces. I bought this for my neighbor and will likely be purchasing one for myself.

Very good basic receiver. I brought it for my basement, and it works very well. It runs my pioneer tower speakers also without any problems. Reliable and Quality sound from Sony.

Receiver performs exponentially great in all areas of surround sound. The bluetooth function is easy to work with and as well as connecting speakers. The calibrating microphone that connects to it also is a nice touch that sony added.

My old Sony receiver lasted 34 years. I can only hope this new one will do the same. Easy set up and running a Boston sub woofer with Boston speakers. Sound is very clear and crisp. Plenty of power for any situation. Highly recommend !

Upgrade from the one I bought in 2009 for 4k features. No wifi seems odd but the sound quality is much better.

Overall not bad its a good receiver for what your paying for. I purchased this primarily due to price as my very old receiver died out after about 20 years (also sony). Ive been using sony receivers for quite some time so decided to keep the brand going. However, there is an issue with ARC that users need to know about. When using ARC everytime you turn on your system you get a pop up menu to select what you are using the receiver for. No way of turning this off and is quite annoying. Sony says this is by design and no way of turning it off other than disabling ARC which then defeats the purpose of using the Smart features like Netflix, Disney+, Hulu etc. I've gotten used to just selecting the options every time i turn on my system but surely would have probably gone with another brand if I would have known this! VERY ANNOYING FEATURE! Regardless of that the receiver is actually very good, but sony needs to find a way of letting us turn that off!

Excellent receiver. I had a Sony before but I was nervous about setting it. It wasn’t hard and the instructions were clear. Just take your time.

Good sound quality for the price and can power pretty big speakers and get decently loud. Bluetooth is great! However keep in mind it doesnt have features like chromecast or apple air play that are in some of the higher end devices do that allow for even better sound quality than bluetooth.

We’ve had this item for almost a month now and have absolutely no complaints! Super easy to setup yourself with clear instructions or prior working knowledge and looks great in the new space!

Works great with my sony x900h tv, recognized the receiver instantly and basically set itself up. E-arc works great for xbox, e-arc from receiver to tv e-arc hdmi plug #3, hdmi #4 to xbox and it figures out all the rest itself, sounds great

Had this receiver for 2 years now and is working great. I haven't had any issues with it at all. I'm not a guy who know a whole lot about home theater receivers but its worked perfectly for me from the surround sounds to the Bluetooth connection.
