My only complaint, had to purchase a woofer because the one i had used positive and negative wires vs single mono cord.

PS4 Audio Output Issues due to PS4 settings

I checked all my TV settings and tested from receiver but no luck. Tech support couldn't help me figure it out and we decided the unit was faulty. I returned it and bought the 5.2 and even tested it in the store with bluetooth no problem. Got it home, same issue, no surround sound (only L and R front played audio). The PS4 HDMI inputs to receiver, then ARC connected to TV via hdmi. Checked the PS4 audio output settings and found the default will not play all speakers. Change to Dolby Digital, problem is solved...

I am not surprised since I know Sony make excellent products. It hooked up everything easy. And the sound is amazing. When it comes to home stereo products always stick with solid companies Cause i tried a no name company for speakers and got a no name result. THEY DIDNT WORK. Thumbs up for Sony!

However, I have two complaints: 1. The AVR does not remember the sound mode used last when you power it on. It always reverts to multi channel stereo at power on. 2. The input name banner, which is rather large, appears across the bottom of the screen whenever frame rate or dynamic range changes, obscuring whatever is at the bottom of the frame whenever I start watching a different show or movie. Other than that, it seems to work quite well.
