Excellent for the price I paid. Better picture quality and better sound output for my 5.1 Bose.

Good buy for basic home theater system

I use this receiver to connect with my TV and BD and provide a better sound quality when viewing TV program and movie. It has meet my basic requirement and I like it with a good price.

He loves the sound he is getting from the in the ceiling speakers. The receiver we had must have been bad quality because it never sounded like this

We're happy that you like most of the features and great performance of the receiver. We also appreciate your feedback regarding your concern about the receiver. It is part of the normal operation to display the home menu of the receiver if it is connected to your TV via HDMI. Simply press the home button on the remote control to exit. Make sure that all HDMI devices connected have HDMI Control enabled. On the other hand, if all HDMI devices are connected to the TV and only the HDMI ARC/eARC port connects to the receiver, then the TV will both control and display all device menus and content.
