Sounds good with Bose speakers

Great receiver except...

Center channel is robust and surround speakers fill in nicely. My only complaint is the unit itself has a very noticeable hum that I'm guessing is the power transformer. Sony says it isn't normal and wants to repair. I'm not inclined to try a repair and am deciding whether to live with it or return it and try another one.

One HDMI can go out to your tv however. A minor issue is that it adjust the subwoofer automatically which doesn't give full punch as it used to in prior receiver. Might be able to adjust but need to look further
