This one is by far the worst. Figuring out how to set up Dolby Vision was the worst. But once I got it set up it worked.

Over Heats

We're sorry to hear what happen with your AV receiver. That depends on how you use the unit and how many speaker connected to the unit. Although the receiver heats up during operation, this is not a malfunction. If you continuously use this receiver at a large volume, the cabinet temperature of the top, side and bottom rises considerably.
Place the receiver in a location with adequate ventilation to prevent heat buildup and prolong the life of the receiver. Do not place the receiver near heat sources, or in a place subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust, or mechanical shock.

Missing basic features

It does not support 120hz passthrough at any resolution. No way to manually set optical as the audio source per input. Optical connector does not match Bravia TV. On screen menu looks old and outdated, not 4k. On screen menu does not have all of the options availabe vs the remote.

This one accepts the audio fiber optic cable which is a mystery; no reason why this is necessary but bought one and plugged it in. When I put in a DVD, the TV turns on, the stereo turns on (dvd audio thru this system), and the movie begins. Great integration!

It's basic, but it does everything I want with fewer bells and whistles than models costing twice as much. The only hiccup was I couldn't connect an old VCR to it. I ran the audio through it, but video had to go through the TV. Very easy to setup and works seamlessly with my Roku TV.
