Great Sony Receiver

Have zero issues with the sound of this unit. Use it in a home office and it performs quite well. Nice features, bluetooth works great, like that it has bass/treble control from the remote

I am using the same speakers, but also changed the center channel, and I am thrilled with the decision! Best Buy had the best price all around, so they will remain my #1 choice for electronics and other home stuff!

Great budget receiver.

Replaced a 7.1 Yamaha that was about 12 years old. I was worried about the musicality of the sound and this unit does not disappoint. Easy to set up, HDMI ARC works well and the Bluetooth feature is solid.

Comparable price with other appliance centers. The technician came to install the system. He showed me how to use the system. Have not had a problem with the system. Very happy with the purchase. Definitely will recommend it to family and friends. I have purchased other home theatre receivers in the past, but this one is definitely the best I have ever bought.

This unit is working perfectly and is easy to set up. It is handling a cable box and X-Box gaming system with 5.2 sound system including 2 front, 2 rear, 1 center, and 1 non-powered sub-wooofer without any difficulty.

Great fit with streaming device and projector

This SONY was easy to set up and once plugged into an HDMI port it instantly provided audio. Previous receiver was very old and would accommodate a streaming device using HDMI and produce video but there was no audio. Had an A/V guy look at it and it would not work.

I was a little Leary because of the price. It was less than I expected to pay. But it has turned out to be a great receiver. We have front back and center speakers and they sound great. We use it for a projector, play station and firebox and they all set up easily. We have a all in one remote that was very easy to change over to this system. Very impressed.

I purchased mine about Amin the ago and could not be more please with it. Simply love it so far it does everything it said it would and more. I really like the Bluetooth connection for playing music and it had four HDMI connections so I am able to plug all my devices in it and not worry about my TV only having two HDMIs that force me to unplug devices to use others.

Only hiccup is the unit does not have the 3 RCA jack accommodation for a video game (in this case a Nintendo Wii). I purchased a RCA-to-HDMI adapter and resolved the problem. Im very pleased with the system. It integrated perfectly with my Sony TV. Sound is excellent. The inclusion of the microphone for system calibration is a nice feature.

I love the sony brand as they last long and reliable. I used my existing 12 speakers from the previous AVR and it just works right out of the box. A little fiddling on the surround sound that requires the user to actually know what theyre doing. Otherwise, the default configuration just works. Added 4 more speakers for a total of 16 and the house shook. Just like in the theatres.

Has decent power and is a good match with some klipsch reference speakers. It drives speakers consistently regardless of volume which is good! Pretty simple to understand.

Amazing Receiver

Owned Onkyo for 5 yrs and Sony blowed me away with this one for good performance with very budget price. Not sure how long it will last but gave me very good first impression already. With the same speakers setup as with my old Onkyo, Sony has fulfilled most of background and ambient sound that I barely heard with my old Onkyo. Thanks BB for a Holiday great discount. I highly recommend this one for all entry-level entrainment setup.
