separate volume for bass & treble is most.

Posted .Hi Funkify7, Thank you for the feedback on your experience with your STRDH590 receiver. We value your opinion and we would like to apologize if our product did not meet your expectations. There is no individual volume control for bass and treble, however, to ensure you're getting the best audio experience, please follow the steps below:
-Check that all connecting cables are inserted to their input/output jacks on the receiver, speakers, and the devices.
-Check that MASTER VOLUME on the receiver is not set to “VOL MIN”.
-Check that the speaker settings are appropriate by using the following settings:
Perform Auto Calibration in [Easy Setup] from the home menu.
Press AMP MENU, then select “<SPKR>” - “PATTERN” on the display panel.
-Then check that sound is output from each speaker correctly by pressing the AMP MENU and selecting “<LEVEL>” - “T. TONE” on the display panel.
-Be sure to select the optimal sound field for the content. For details on the sound fields, see “Selectable sound fields and their effects.” using the Help Guide.

If you turn it, hdmi controller, off you're forced to use the receiver controller to turn it on and off. Had the unit for just over the 2 weeks best buy gives you to return the item, when it started clipping and powering off during game play and when streaming a movie. Have to now send it to Sony since Best buy won't return the item thats less than 3 weeks since purchased.

Posted .Hi Disappointed, We regret to hear about this. With regards to the first issue, this is not a malfunction. The TV will turn on when you turn on the receiver because of the Control for HDMI function of the unit. I would suggest you go to the settings of the receiver and turn off the Control for HDMI function to not sync your TV with the unit.

Gremlins in the box

Randomly mutes itself and switches between inputs. Will be watching my Firestick and it will just turn on my DVD player and switch to it. Then it might just mute for no reason. When it is behaving itself it is just fine, but after turning it on its about a 5 minute fight before it will stay on a single input.
