The audio amplifier is exactly what I needed and wanted. Works great. Very easy to hook up with my speakers. Sounds great and easy to adjust the sound quality.

I am using this receiver in a small living room and the sound is great. Easy set up but I agree with a previous review where it was stated that the set up menu was lacking in some areas for complete set up and you do need to reference the complete set up manual but as I stated before, it is easy to see up and has all of the inputs needed for my viewing and listening pleasure.

Great sound. Includes calibration mic (and performance speaker calibration during setup), which I didn't expect. Plenty of power to fill our viewing room and rumble the floors with the 5.2 speakers we have.

For the money this is a good unit. It would be better if it had more adjustments for the speakers. The bass from the sub is on the light side. It has made my bluray discs sound much better than my old receiver. I am happy with my purchase for the sale price I got it for.

I really like this receiver. Very easy to set up and run. We use it mostly for TV audio and the sound is great and plenty of power. We have 2 Polk Audio front speakers a subwoofer and center channel that makes great sound for those movies.

A very good receiver. The Auto Calibration Mic had no problems and worked the first time right out of the box. Very good separation of any audio playback in some old VHS tapes. Old receiver, about 15 years old, just seemed loud, This receiver actually makes you "feel" were certain musical notes/instruments or special effects are coming from. Clear subwoofer signal as well. Love the ability to customize various levels of the speakers. Can easily select different audio settings for even more effects for different audio formats. To be honest only used HDMI from a DVD player just to see if pass through worked. It worked fine but since older buyer and not plagued with a plethora of HDMI based electronics, probably will not use much if at all. Bluetooth worked with no problems. FM stereo was decent but the "antennae" is woefully short. If you live in an area with lots of buildings get ready for some less than optimum reception. All in all a very good receiver for the money. Would absolutely buy again if needed.

Great purchase that goes awesome with my 75" smart tv. Great surround sound quality perfect for movies. Love the Bluetooth capability to connect to other devices. Only knock on it would be the excessive wiring I needed to hide as best as possible other than that it's perfect for it's use

I wanted to keep using my wired speakers so I purchased this. Sometimes, you just want to hear the old-school radio on your decades-old speakers and reminisce about the good old days. This was an open box deal. The unit came with a little ding but otherwise working well!

Purchased this to replace my older receiver after 15 years and it still works great, just wanted something with Bluetooth...lol This receiver has a great quality sound!!!! It says remote sold separate, but it comes with a great remote! This was a Excellent Buy!!

It is a good receiver amplifier with a lot of features. I would recommend it for home theaters.

Two previous Yamaha units have failed and become useless after a couple years of use. Hopefully Sony has a better life built into this, but it's a good value for the money, and should it fail I won't have lost half what the Yamahas cost. Works well, good sound, easy install and operation

Great sound quality, lots of power (rated at 145 Watts) I kept my existing speakers, yet the sound is brighter with this receiver, after swapping out the OLD receiver. and definitely louder than my old 100 watt x 5

Works great. Set up to LG 75" Nano cell 4K with two bookshelf speakers and subwoofer. Simple, great value. Great sound from tv, music from sirius, amazon music, DVD. If you don't need surround this is a great choice. Excellent value and performance.

Delivers outstanding surround sound and was easy to set up

This is exactly the receiver I was looking for my home stereo. Hooking up my speakers, turntable, and CD player were quick & easy. The Bluetooth connects quickly and easily and is ideal for my LG TV and iPad.

The first thing I noticed it it has some weight to the unit which means it has a good foundation and decent power supply. The esthetics is not the greatest however black goes well with most living rooms. I am running the system with two front Sony towers, a Sony center channel and subwoofer with the exception of the rear surround sound speakers which are Polk. After playing with the settings for a couple of days I am satisfied as I can now hear the voice in movies and the bass and mids don't over lap the voice in my movies. Now the bass is not too deep however it does the job and makes you feel the explanations and punches which further pull you into the movie. Having 725 watts is why I choose this unit over the 7.1 version as I listen to music as much as I watch movies so having 60-80 RMS watts per channel is important. Also having the option to add a second subwoofer is a good option and may do so in the future . The only down side is no Atmos or DTSX and still I am ok with that since my living room is small which makes my 5.1 set up perfect.
