Receiver integrated nicely with DirectTV 4K box, Samsung 4K TV, and Samsung Blue-Ray DVD player. Easy setup that includes a test signal to verify surround sound speakers are properly synced. Bluetooth is great for connecting Amazon music playlist on my cell phone to my surround sound system.

Really good quality for the price you pay. I have been really impressed with the performance of the device and the optional output hdmi ports. I would say some of the audio presets are kind of lame but some are really good. Bluetooth enabled which is awesome when you are cleaning the house and want to jam to your tunes!

I like audio. Not as much as my dad who was the "component tower" and imported speaker kind of guy, but I know what to expect from good audio systems. I built a surround system with Sony Core Series speakers, but was running it from my old insignia receiver until I saved up for this guy. Night and day difference. I first thought the "self setup" mic was a gimmick, but it came with it, so I gave it a try. It works amazingly! You place it at the location of your head when watching TV, and hit go. You can fine tune the setup, and it shows speaker distance it found. It was within about 6 inches on each speaker after auto calibration. Only thing I miss is the AM radio tuner. Not a huge deal, but I'm in a rural area and it's nice to get those stronger signals. I'll trade the integrated Bluetooth for that any day!

Easy to set up and the sound quality is amazing. Paired with a Samsung 4K TV and the experience of watching a 4K movie with theater like sound is phenomenal. Take the time to explore the various settings and you will be rewarded.

I have owned only Sony Receivers as long I have had surround sound. This was a major upgrade, especially during the pandemic shutdown. I really love the ease of setup and that I can do it visually on my tv and the neatest part is the Bluetooth connectivity.

This is perfect for a basic AV receiver for house. It also has everything that you need in today's world ..4K, Bluetooth etc. Setup is easy. I also like the fact that this is thinner on height than the normal receivers, fits perfect in my stand. The various custom programs are also handy for different content.

First, we had excellent customer service at Best Buy in Beaumont CA. Second, the directions were easy to follow and I was able to connect everything easily. I love the blue tooth features although either the amp or the phone keeps forgetting to keep it logged in on Bluetooth. MInor issue. Very Satisfied!

I didn't expect a lot from this Receiver, I just wanted to replace a failing receiver that I had. I was pleasantly and happily surprised by the ease of setup, and the quality of the sound that came out of my 5.1 AIWA speakers from this unit. My wife loved hearing all her Christmas songs and Music this year.

overall good value and easy to set up. A little light on options compared to other models however Sony has a fine reputation

Love this receiver. I have an iPhone and Apple doesn’t allow you to hook up to anything that’s not their product. I have my iPhone 11 Pro Max hooked up to this via Bluetooth and it sounds so good. I listen to all my favorite songs from my Apple Music. Sounds like a concert!!!

Great receiver, easy to set up and use. Good sound and features. I use it as a home theatre with just a couple sources and it works great.

Hooked up this receiver to older Bose speakers. The sound was great. It was easy to hook up since basically it connected just like my old receiver.

I purchased this for a clubhouse to use with built-in surround sound speakers and a microphone system. Setting this up was very simple, operation is intuitive, Bluetooth connection is great and it has awesome sound quality. I'm very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend!

Great Sony system, works much better than our old system. The setup was very easy and never did get our speakers on our old system set correctly. Great sound and easy to operate. The person who waited on us was outstanding and knew exactly what we needed. Love the geek squad.
