sony reciever is great

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have use sony reciever since 2003 now 2024 I get the sound I want for the subwoofer but I recommend not using the subwoofer channels the filtering is not good I do recommend using front channels for subwoofer with a custom filtering that will works best for the subwoofer

To solve this issue, try setting the sound field on your TV settings and change it to cinema, that should keep the setting now on your receiver whenever you turn it on. Great replacement for an old Sony Receiver

This one easily replaced it, keeping all the same speakers, but adding additional functionality with HDMI source switching and 4K Ultra and Hi-Res Audio. The only annoying thing is the on-screen display.

Just what I needed

Tried different settings, but not getting the base I was hoping for. Need to play with it some more to see if I can get better sound out of it.
