    Purchased this Sony reciever to replace the older model before it. (Older unit started to shut itself off, 8 years old now). All I wanted to do was upgrade main units, and this does the job. The picture quality is actually better on standard cable than my older model. Only cons to this unit is I lost 1 HMDI out, and I wish it had a manual auto-volume control button like the previous model. Otherwise, we love it

    It works well and sounds good, but it's way more complicated than I thought it would be. The initial "Setup" with the enclosed mic worked, but still there's too much other stuff to deal with. I wish I'd bought something a bit simpler.
