I bought it on sale for my brother to upgrade from his old Pioneer. This was is 20× better. Yes it does not have wifi, but for it its supposed to do, it does it great. Good power all around and the subwoofer rocks. High-quality for sure from Sony!

It was really easy to set up......................

Product was good but instructions did not say that the head phones and speakers would not work at the same time for trouble shooting. Old system both worded at same time.

Was able to connect older speaker system for tv that works well. The unit had to be repaired less than a year after purchase. It just stopped working.

Good value. I wanted to set up a 2.1 home theater and the only way I could is by using the TV's headphone output into the receiver. It would have been nicer to use the HDMI ARC but 2.1 doesn't seem to be supported.

Product worked perfectly out of the box. Very satisfied with it.

Had it installed two days ago .After figuring out how to operate it I am amazed at all the functions it has . It is more up dated from the one I purchased a few years ago I am enjoying listening to my connected blue ray player cd changer

I am very satisfied with this receiver, the only thing I would change is the connector for the FM antenna. It is a proprietary connector and will not work with any other 3rd party antennas and Sony does not make a powered antenna.

I had some store credit and the transaction was easy and smooth. It's a great tool for home use and provides easy control with the other units. There's not much more to say that it's a wonderful piece of equipment and does more than I need and will grow with out system.

Great price for a good receiver. I would have given it 5 stars, but I am having difficulty getting any FM stations. I've bought an additional antenna, but there is no way to hook it to the receiver. Still trying to figure it out or I am going to return it and upgrade.

My system is working excellent. Vernon and Andre was great for stting up and explaining the system before they departed. They went far above my expectations.

This meets our needs. Our only issue is that we wish we had purchased a receiver that allowed us to have something different in different rooms. This is not a problem with the receiver, but with ourselves for not knowing we wanted that.

My old Unit starter with Problems and we needed an upgrade. Best Buy had this new model and works great for what we need with some new features. Great Buy!!

I wanted this so much but it was not compatible with the Sonos system. The salesman/clerk said it was compatible. I don't know if the salesman just didn't know, aka ignorant, or he was just running up the money I spent. I invested many hours on this Sony receiver and the Sony turntable attempting to pair them together. Additionally, I had the Geek Squad come to my house to connect these two Sony products but they were not compatible. Plus the money in gas and time for three trips to Best Buy, from New Bern, NC to Morehead City, NC, 120 miles total. Ended up returning both.

Purchased this reciever as a replacement for a denon unit in my home theater. Not the loadest or cleanest unit but certainly acceptable for the price. No real negatives so far. Bluetooth connectivity works well with apple or android devi es. Pleased with my purchase. Good value.

I really like this receiver and it should offer the flexibility I may need for all my audio set ups. Only drawback is price - couldn't find a sale, and nearly $300 for this was pushing my budget. As long as it holds up, i won't mind in the end.

I bought this for my home theatre and it works great. I use it with Klipsch bookshelf speakers

I have had this receiver now for 2 years. Have had no problems with it and does a great job in my home theatre with my 5.2 system

This unit worked great for 14 months until one day it just powered off and went into protect mode every time I tried to restart it. I went through all the troubleshooting steps in the manual before calling Sony support, as it has a two-year warranty. They sent a prepaid box, and I sent it for repair. Upon their review, I was told that the unit has corrosion damage, which voids the manufacturer’s warranty, and that the damage was extensive enough that the unit could not be reliably repaired. The receiver was in a location with central air, plenty of air circulation, and no potential for liquid spills, yet the repair facility cannot explain how the corrosion could have happened. So now I'm out a $350+ receiver after just over a year, which is ridiculous. I suspect that these units must be stored in warehouses that are not temperature and humidity controlled and sent to stores with corrosion already started. I'm not sure how else multiple failures of the same models for corrosion within the two-year warranty can be explained (other examples of "corrosion" to the same model were found online). I've always been a loyal Sony fan due to their previous quality and reputation, but it's time to start looking at other manufacturers with equipment worth the investment. I am thoroughly disappointed in the quality of this receiver and the "support" received.
