Amazing Receiver

Audio and video is much better. If you have a 4K tv I highly recommend ensuring your surround sound is up to par.

Bad tech support

Things went good until I got to the part where you have to pick your speaker arrangement. All my speakers are in the ceiling and there is no choice for that. Then Only the front speakers would work. Called tech support and spent 2 hours on the phone with them to find out that the auto calibration won't work with all the speakers in the ceiling and they couldn't figure out why my rear speakers wouldn't work. I finally figured out it was a simple setting that needed to be changed. Tech suggested was a total waste of time.

Great 4k hdr receiver

Initially the speaker size are set to large, so changed to "small" for the subwoofer to work. Also to bypass 4k hdr change hdmi signal input to "enhanced".

Thank you for the review. We do apologize on what happen with your speakers. We recommend using speaker wires that are anywhere between 12 to 16 gauge. What is with the 80’s motif that has taken over the industry? Give us some options! White, silver, something other than the big black box sitting in my living room.

For my new house I wanted something new with optical input, etc. I'm very happy with this new reciever.
