Other than that it looks good and serves the purpose.

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this receiver in December of 2023, worked great for almost 10 months until last week when it started going into PROTECT mode and shutting itself off. I unplugged the unit overnight, disconnected all speakers and restarted and after 15 minutes went back into PROTECT mode again. Unfortunately the other 1 star reviews mention this fatal flaw, and with Sony 90 day warranty no choice but to start shopping for another receiver. :-(

HDMI dialog issues

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In consultation with Sony support, did everything right in setting up HDMI (2.0+) arc connections to cable/receiver/TV, and had a lot of trouble getting the dialog to come in right, except on very narrow setting options - often needing changing when streaming vs cable, etc then - the Sony would not keep those settings - and would need to update again Return product and went with my older Yamaha (better quality I think) and just using the digital audio return - without the HDMI processing messing with the dialog sound.
