    two months out of warranty and the Protection fault keeps shutting the unit down (even with no speakers connected). BB will not repair or replace.

    In consultation with Sony support, did everything right in setting up HDMI (2.0+) arc connections to cable/receiver/TV, and had a lot of trouble getting the dialog to come in right, except on very narrow setting options - often needing changing when streaming vs cable, etc then - the Sony would not keep those settings - and would need to update again Return product and went with my older Yamaha (better quality I think) and just using the digital audio return - without the HDMI processing messing with the dialog sound.
