This happened periodically and would just start working correct randomly. Gets very hot once sound level is above 70. Returned and got a Denon.

After a week it kept shutting itself off in protect mode. I returned it and did not want to take another chance getting the same receiver. I usually buy everything Sony, but I ordered a Yamaha receiver to replace it.

Unsure why the UI can switch the hardware but not notify the ui that the source is live. First time I’ve seen this as owner a many receivers through the years.
