    I had an old Integra receiver that was like $700 from the early 2000’s blow a center channel a couple years ago. So decided after a couple years of looking at my speakers and not having anything to use them with I picked this up on sale during the holidays. I was shocked at how good it was and how it was way better than my older high end one. Only needed 5.2 so it was perfect!

    Excellent sound. It took a little time to understand the settings and picking the best platform for my listening taste but was able to find the output after about a hour and a half of trying various settings.

    Exactly what I needed for my basic 5.1 set-up at my home. The ARC and easy to use software works good enough for my needs. The auto-calibration is quick and easy to use. Using all Sony speakers with this set up that fits my budget and needs. A good start AV receiver that does not hurt your wallet if you find it on a good sale.

    Great performance and sound quality that fills the room completely with high level of music. It is really amazing to listen to the music from the deep bass and full watt output from both speakers powered by this receiver/ amplifier. The connectivity is very simple compared to other expensive devices I used in the past.

    I like Sony products because of the excellent customer support. This AV tuner works great. I have Bose Acoustimas stereo speakers that sort of work on this device but not as well as they did on my old pre-HDMI tuner. I needed HDMI ports, as most of us do, so will have to upgrade the speakers someday, sigh.
