It syncs well with my Smart LG TV and the HDMI out connection on the Receiver where the TV sends the audio directly to the receiver through the ARC HDMI connection on the TV.

Now i listen to radio and i use the bluetooth feature to listen to podcasts. Easy to set up. Easy to operate. Great sound. Super happy.

I set up my small home theater system and I chose this specific model because it’s enough to connect my current speakers and it has the option for me to expand in the future. It’s nice to know that module is capable enough to run my current set up and not worry about buying another one if I want to install more speakers in the future (if my wallet allows it haha)

Excellent 5.2 Option Home Theater Receiver

So, I decided to stick with a 5.2 receiver but wanted one that was 4K Ultra HD / Dolby Vision & Atmos (at least for decoding the higher-quality audio) / DTX compatible. This Sony fit the bill quite nice. It has 4K pass through and Sony is good with firmware updates to keep it current. The wattage per channel is just fine and it does have adjustments for increasing the output per channel, important if you have a subwoofer with active on - as this keeps enough signal to the subwoofer to keep it from going to 'sleep' continuously during lengthy dialogue scenes. Paired with our new Sony 75" 4K TV, we are enjoying movies on a whole new level.

What happened to GOOD music audio on this amp??

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was as great on audio sound on TV and Movies, but spending hours and calls to support, because I just couldn’t get to even a 50% decent stereo sound on Pandora, FM stereo or any music format. Really odd and doesn’t make sense, but tried every trick in the book to get music audio to sound anywhere near decent. Several other reviews said the same thing as I found trying to get a decent music sound from this receiver. Returned and went with a pioneer Elite 105 which BLOWS this away in every category.
