The sound output is amazing

We replaced an Onkyo that we bought not too long ago and was giving us nothing but problems. Not only did our problems go away, but the sound quality improved immensely. The Dolby Atmos is amazing. Low price.......great sound and function. Highly recommend

I can’t imagine how this’ll perform once I set up a 7.2. I highly recommend this Sony AV receiver. Those other expensive AV receivers are complete ripoffs! This has all the features an entertainment enthusiast could ask for.

Great Sound

The set up was easy. I did manually add more sub. It's smaller the the old unit which I like. The sound quality is superb in my opinion. Movies sound great and the separation is much better than the Onkyo or the Pioneer I had previously. Very happy with this Receiver!

I bought it because this was the only receiver they had in the store. Plenty of empty shelves these days. No regrets. Very easy hookup/ setup. Sound quality is superb. Sony has never let me down.

Added some Dolby atmos speakers. Only issue is I sometimes like to listen to music and watch tv sometimes. When you pair your iPhone you can’t watch tv.

I am now able to broadcast TV, CD and radio through the ceiling speakers installed by previous owners of my home ... a delightful sound system.

Remarkable with subwoofer

I was wondering from quiet sometime how I can connect my TV with in wall speaker and after some research I choose to go with this amplifier recommend to buy subwoofer with this product and it will give you crazy bass love to hear music and sound after adding all together

If you're like me, you'll love this device! Wireless sound is great and Sonos does a great job with it but I appreciate the wire-connected devices and Sony Sound Systems are always an excellent purchase! I bought a Sony receiver in 2006 and have had it ever since. It's always exceeded my expectations for movies and games but this system blew me away!!! Granted, I had a older system but this provided so much more! Quality thick sound cables and quality HDMI cables also help this along enhanced our sound experience even more. A perfect theater system for your home!

It's like being center stage in the front role. With great sound all around you and the 4K HD is almost like great 3D. Excellent great bang for your buck.

Another Great Sony Product

Love the hdmi arc and how it works. For the black Friday deal I got it on its a great deal. Replaced my 16 year old Sony strd 915 receiver which I moved into my computer room. Very happy and well worth the little money it cost.

Great ATMOS Receiver

My 5.1.2 home theater sounds as good as the real movie theater. I have tried excellent sound bar systems and even a 5.1 surround using the same receiver (I have 2 of them) and ATMOS w this receiver is just so much better.

The sound quality is amazing for such a budget receiver. My family was in awe when I played some sample atmos content. They kept looking around the room to find where the overhead sound was coming from....I hid the overhead speakers pretty well. Hehe.

We were not expecting it to be as good as what we had, but have been pleasantly surprised. It was easy to hook up as well.

Altmos Starter

Having gone from the entry (590?) receiver without Altmos to this one wasn’t the big difference I thought it was going to be but, when it does it does add a bit more expansive sound to the room.
