Good Value for features.

Auto calibration was ok. It was a little soft on the rear speakers. I'm only running a 5.1 setup so no ATMOS to judge it on. EARC is working well. My Roku manages power on/off and volume control with no issues. I do wish the screen had more info but it will overlay menus on the tv screen for most functions.

It is a very good system no matter what you are listening to. It says 7.2 and has connections for 7.2 but the setup and all information in the system settings does not give you anything for the two subs only the one but that is a minor issue. It is very loud if you want it to be and is clear with no distortion. Great sound system for the money.

Decent Receiver

Even with the online manuel printed, a few features aren't completely clear. I will have to Google some things, but overall it routes the tv signal the way it should. It has a few quirks here and there but nothing big. My theater setup is 5.1.2, using compatible Sony speakers, and it sounds great. Overall, with the holiday price of the complete system, I am happy with it.

Good (But Kinda Confusing) Atmos Option

I still haven't figured out how to set it up with 2 subwoofers correctly. Setting up the various surround options is easy enough though. The audio modes it has to be on for your surround to work correctly are also a little confusing to understand, especially for anyone that isn't fluent in current home theater tech.

I had an Elite Pioneer receiver that I loved that were having some audio issues. The store didn’t have a lot of product to choose from so I picked Sony which I have had before.

Some have knocked this item for using spring clips but no big deal for me. It suits all.my surround sound needs, adequate power for me. Even at full price this would have been an extreme bargain. Can't wait to add a pair of elevation speakers to it!!
