Now that is solved. Sound quality is amazing, PS4 is outta this world. Only reason not 5 stars is because you have to press the Sat/Tv button on receiver remote every time you turn the TV on. The menu screen pops up twice every time. I find it highly annoying, my family says it's not a problem. So we are keeping it.

Not many receivers support A/B speakers, HDMI pass thru and 7.2 in this price range... I needed this to run 5.1 surround, set of B speakers and switch HDMI... works great. Some complain about the interface... but you can figure everything out without too much trouble (re-assigning digital inputs and such). The only thing missing for me was a phone input.

Good enough to power the Bose acoustimas surround

This Sony was half the price that I bought the original one for so I would say it’s a great bargain because it works like it’s supposed to. The only thing I had trouble with and said F it was the lip sync with external devices such as Apple TV, but cable worked so I guess it was ok. But yeh, this device does what it was built for and the price is nice. Hope this helps... Cheerio

I previously had the model above this one but HDMI inputs stopped working Geek squad couldn’t do anything and advised me maybe Sony repair can help. Less strength but good quality sound still. I have the 7.2 setup with 2 subwoofers all Sony speakers in a 20x20 media room on an 85 inch tv

When that happened, a wonderful world of sound opened up, and not, I would not trade it for anything else. Great HD audio solution at a good price

I am using the Earc port on my OLED LG CX in order to get the atmos sound. This unit will not do the 120 frames using the built in video swiching, but that is fine. I only wanted to use this as an audio device.

Good receiver for the price!

I didn't want to go too expensive so I bought this one at a good price. The sound quality is very good. I like that it is capable of producing 7.1 sound. Also, I know that Sony is a good brand because I still have my old receiver that I purchased in 1999 and it still works like a champ. I highly recommend this receiver.

Didn’t expect it to be good but it actually wasn’t so bad. Was able to connect my sub but now my sub can’t handle the receiver output so had to buy new receiver but kept my other surround and it sounds great. Just like at the theatre. I loved the fact it controlled all my games, dvd, tv, etc... with just the receiver remote. Eliminating remote Clutters.
