Great receiver!!

This thing is great!! Recommended by Best Buy employee and I don't regret it. I have two bookshelf speakers, center speaker and sub hooked up...all Sony. Looking to add more in the future.

great bang for your buck!

The sound is great and the HDMI connections are just what my old receiver didn't have that I needed for the components I needed to hookup. The only thing I would suggest is to add more banana plug capability but that's not a deal breaker for me. Great receiver!

The Sony receiver has just as good if not better sound quality and channel separation down the Marantz did. I also paid half as much for the Sony as I did the Marantz. I also got more watts per channel with the Sony receiver

I love the ability to plug in the microphone assistant to help set up the sound, makes the final sound that much better when listening to the great flix, and the football games are like being there! So glad I bought this piece of equipment.

This one is great so far, supporting Atmos and other new technologies. Setup was a little frustrating as I had the option to use an “enhanced” selection for certain inputs. It didn’t work and I was frustrated trying to figure out what happened until I lucked into turning it back off.

I have purchased 4 of these over the course of 10 years and each time I have been impressed with how Sony takes out the complications of setting up the new one and makes it easier each time. Easy to follow instructions makes connection to your new TV or surround sound a breeze. Now, with the improvements to Bluetooth you can connect any nearly any brand of speakers and no wire connections are needed. Another great idea from Sony.

Especially the bookshelf (8) speakers with subwoofers. 4k 50" hisense tv to go with it. Don't change a thing.

I am very pleased with it and it’s very easy to use. Make sure you use the HDMI ARC connection - you’ll never even need to touch your receiver again since it links with the TV’s HDMI ARC port.

If you want a Dolby atmos receiver that sounds great out of the box, pull the trigger. No frills with this receiver, but all I needed was something that would bring my movies to life. And this does the trick. An added bonus is the picture quality is a good.

Nice bang for its bucks

Atmos is out of this world. Hooked it up to my Klipsch floor standing speakers and I was speechless. Bluetooth enabled so you can listen to music from your phone through the receiver onto the speakers in your home. Love it!
