After spending months looking for a receiver, I finally settled on this one. Wanted something small with features I only needed. The Dolby Atmos and pricing was definitely a plus.

Noticable improvement to picture and graphics thru PS4 and simplifies the set-up and use of my entertainment system.

Paired with Yamaha Speakers... Sounds crisp. Works great. Auto Calibration for sound is a breeze. Great price during Black Friday. Glad I bought this.

I really was not looking for a 7.2 channel receiver for this location but the price and the extras were well worth it. Great receiver at a great price

If you go to the Best Buy in Roseville ask to speak to Rob and electronics he hook me up oh, he was very knowledgeable in home entertainment.

Bought it for a 5.1.2 set up

Good Unit with Some Reservations

Great receiver for entry level

Doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but works great. It does get a little warm, but hasn't been a problem for me. Highly recommend if you want a budget receiver.

Took me a bit to figure out how to get the 2 to work together, would have been easier if the Sony Reciever had come with a phone app like some of the other brands so you can see how the input is being processed. I liked the lower profile of the unit compared to some of the other offerings but the surround output is a little limited vs the other brands which were about $50 more on sale but the unit fits my needs.

This thing sounds great and really adds a dimension to my home theater. I was able to add another sub and 2 more surrounds and it is amazingly different! Great receiver!

No ice entry level AVR
