This has been a great set up, especially when paired with the Phillips Hue lights that are reactive to the TV image.

This my all means has better sound quality, very little distortion when volume is high. Movies sound like your in the movie theater, lots of rumble!!!!!

Only downside is lack of active cooling but this is remedied by adding a simple fan to the grill up top. Drives all the Sony speakers that that it is rated for

Atmos performance with a budget

One downside would be there is no hdmi 2.1 so it lacks some future proofing (4k @ 120hz).

Great Receiver for the Price
