I gave never heard by Bose Acustimass sound so good before. Worth every penny.

Perfect home theater

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got two of these one for me and one for the girl i mostly use mine for gaming and it is so nice not have to switch in-between channels when i switch consoles all i have to do now is turned on the console and everything fires right up in full 8k being able to switch you speaker pattern is also extremely nice when you can't afford to buy everything at once

Separates 5.1 sound through 7.1 speakers, unlike previous Denon I had. Hwoecer, bafflingly, it doesn’t have wireless or even wired Ethernet capability.

Great reciever

It also passes the video and audio through it great. The only thing I was surprised by was that it doesn't have network connectivity. It is just bluetooth

Looked up some forums and no solution. I have to rely on digital optical. Other that that it works great and push out decent power.

Aside from being cheap, it has great picture quality when passing through 4K video. HDMI ARC support is definitely a plus!

Good entrypoint for 4k dolby atmos.

I will also say that the mode you need to use for most things including Dolby Atmos and most surround is oddly named "Multi Stereo", and in some section of the manual this setting is described as outputting stereo sound to all speakers. with a little digging I have found that this setting is basically the "auto detect" setting that outputs whatever encoding the device is sending it. I would have liked to see dedicated buttons for each input instead of the dial, but I guess I don't use the on device button enough for this to be a deal breaker.

We can now hear the voices on the center channel speaker and the surround sound puts you in the middle of the action. Must buy.

EASY SET-UP
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this unit to be able to connect our ceiling speakers and other speakers to our tv and blue ray player. It was a pretty easy job to connect all of the speakers. I would say that it is a bit more difficult, at least for the novice, to figure out how to get the right sound balance. I have a L and R front speakers with a center speaker, sub-woofer, and 4 ceiling speakers. I still have not been able to get the sub to play. I don't know if I have something else that I need to select on the receiver or what. I do know that the sub was working prior to connecting this receiver, so it must be an easy fix (hopefully). The ceiling speakers seem to have a mind of their own as they don't work all of the time. I would recommend this receiver to anyone.
