Just a couple of things

First, attempts to simplify controls has made them more complex. Second, the lack of a PHONO jack made connecting my turntable an engineering exercise I had not planned on doing. Otherwise, this AVR works flawlessly, as did the SONY receiver it replaced, after 26 years.

replacement receiver

This replacement for the Sony STR-DN1080 (no longer made by Sony) has most of the same inputs, but not all. The Best Buy Technician did a great job in setting it up.
