Also supports Dolby Vision. 4 HDMI’s for components and an ARC HDMI port for your TV, if it supports it. Obviously you woukd need to pay much more for a “better” receiver, mored HDMIs, features, etc. For this price point tho it makes for an excellent entry level AVR for an Atmos/ DTS:X set up.

The sound is great and set up was pretty easy. Paired it with the Klipsch floor and bookshelf speakers and I am very pleased thus far. Plan to add a sub woofer and the center speakers at some point and believe it will be an outstanding system. As is it is already great.

Nice quality receiver

Place the provided microphone in the center of the living room and bamn, The unit sends all the signals on auto setup and pre sets speakers distances from the microphone and adjusts the db levels to balance sound for 7.1 and 5.1 Dolby etc.

Remarkable with subwoofer

I was wondering from quiet sometime how I can connect my TV with in wall speaker and after some research I choose to go with this amplifier recommend to buy subwoofer with this product and it will give you crazy bass love to hear music and sound after adding all together

It delivers excellent sound quality. It can accommodate nearly any surround sound configurations. It was easy to set up and calibrate. I like that I do not have to switch between devices as combining it with my Q90 R one box allows you to hear whatever is on the TV.

We replaced an Onkyo that we bought not too long ago and was giving us nothing but problems. Not only did our problems go away, but the sound quality improved immensely. The Dolby Atmos is amazing. I bought it because this was the only receiver they had in the store. Plenty of empty shelves these days. No regrets. Very easy hookup/ setup. Sound quality is superb. Sony has never let me down.

Best AV Receiver

I can’t imagine how this’ll perform once I set up a 7.2. I highly recommend this Sony AV receiver. Those other expensive AV receivers are complete ripoffs! This has all the features an entertainment enthusiast could ask for.

Superb Reciever!

If you're like me, you'll love this device! Wireless sound is great and Sonos does a great job with it but I appreciate the wire-connected devices and Sony Sound Systems are always an excellent purchase! I bought a Sony receiver in 2006 and have had it ever since. It's always exceeded my expectations for movies and games but this system blew me away!!! Granted, I had a older system but this provided so much more! Quality thick sound cables and quality HDMI cables also help this along enhanced our sound experience even more. A perfect theater system for your home!

Added some Dolby atmos speakers. Only issue is I sometimes like to listen to music and watch tv sometimes. When you pair your iPhone you can’t watch tv.

The set up was easy. I did manually add more sub. It's smaller the the old unit which I like. The sound quality is superb in my opinion. Movies sound great and the separation is much better than the Onkyo or the Pioneer I had previously. Very happy with this Receiver!

Great ATMOS Receiver

My 5.1.2 home theater sounds as good as the real movie theater. They kept looking around the room to find where the overhead sound was coming from....I hid the overhead speakers pretty well. Hehe.
