Works great in my room which is about 800 sq ft and 7.2 speaker setup. Setup and config very quick. Definitely would buy again!

Thought it was busted. We were bummed! Bought this one. Hooked it up. Still had same problem. Figured out it was a splitter that needed to be reset. So we didn't actually need a new receiver. I was ready to return it, but we decided to listen to our Pink Floyd Dark Side immersion set in 5.2 surround sound first. We had just listened to it recently through the other receiver, so I had high expectations. The sound from this Sony far exceed those expectations. It nearly made me cry. So now we have a really great 5.2 receiver available for sale!

The only thing this doesn't have on it is an A & B speaker system set up for running two separate systems...on for the home system and what I used to have was an outdoor system hooked up. Not a deal breaker. The only downer (and it could be user error) is I couldn't get the system to balance out via the built in set up for it but I'll try again when I move. I'm really happy with this and am looking forward to adding a sub woofer and a sound bar or center speaker to it. I'm currently using a 3 speaker setup for it with no sub.
