    A great sounding reciever.No way near loud enough.I have 2 Polk 55 S Towers speakers and as soon as you get a decent volume unit shuts off and goes into protect mode.Again, great sound, but totally dis satisfied with inadequate volume.

    Replaced an older SONY receiver . New one seemed easier to hook up but miss the 120v plug on back . Can't seem to run TV without the surround sound on . Should have had another HTML plug for by passing receiver . Also have to exit speaker set up every time i turn TV on !

    If you’re getting into buying av equipment this is a good stepping stone. Bought this for the 4K hdr pass through and works great. I was able to set this up as a 5.2.2 Atmos. No issues with sound or video dropping. I have my ps4 pro, Apple TV 4K and Sony 4K Blu Ray player connected and switching between them is seen less with the dedicated buttons on remote for each input.

    This 7.2 receiver to replace our old Sony 7.1 was very easy to setup and use. We are now enjoying what we missed when it was determined that our front and rear speakers had failed in our older system. Double checked that the speakers were good before purchasing the Sony 7.2.

    Easy setup but connections options could be better. Banana plugs for only the front speakers which could make it difficult for wires bigger than 14 guage. Sound is good but compared to my old Onykyo without 4K it was subpar. Seems to connect with other devices better and easier to operate changes and the remote.

    I love it Dolby Atmos at an affordable price. The sound quality is excellent placed in my family room. My home is o er 100yrs old so its not the most acousticly created room yet we get fantastic sound.

    This receiver is amazing for the price. If you need 4K HDR make sure you set each HDMI input to ENHANCED mode in the ARC Menu. Initially my PS4 didn't want to use full 4K HDR until I enabled that setting. Make sure you read the manual for more sweet features.
