This thing is great!! Recommended by Best Buy employee and I don't regret it. I have two bookshelf speakers, center speaker and sub hooked up...all Sony. Looking to add more in the future.

I ‘ve had this one for two months and I trust it will last because Sony makes great stuff. connected to my Sony 65”” tv and drives a full array of six speakers. The sound is amazing and it’s like sitting in a regular theater.

The sound is great and the HDMI connections are just what my old receiver didn't have that I needed for the components I needed to hookup. The only thing I would suggest is to add more banana plug capability but that's not a deal breaker for me. Great receiver!

The Sony receiver has just as good if not better sound quality and channel separation down the Marantz did. I also paid half as much for the Sony as I did the Marantz. I also got more watts per channel with the Sony receiver

I love the ability to plug in the microphone assistant to help set up the sound, makes the final sound that much better when listening to the great flix, and the football games are like being there! Especially the bookshelf (8) speakers with subwoofers. 4k 50" hisense tv to go with it. Don't change a thing.

This one is great so far, supporting Atmos and other new technologies. Setup was a little frustrating as I had the option to use an “enhanced” selection for certain inputs. It didn’t work and I was frustrated trying to figure out what happened until I lucked into turning it back off.
