I attempted all troubleshooting - https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00032091?utm_source=glean https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/audio-components-receivers-amplifiers/articles/00025095 I'm thankfully under warranty though inconvenienced that i had to disconnect my rig to take it back to best buy and now I'm told 4-6 weeks for repair :( I purchased this receiver to replace my old Sony STR-SE391 - That i bought 24 years ago and still works to the day without being "Protected" lol I had to re-connect the old dog and just wish it had HDMI then i wouldn't have had to upgrade. #Sony please fix this issue!! My fear is that when i get my receiver back from Best Buy repair depot that its going to happen again! I need a reliable receiver and dependable, i record audio and don't need this happening during a session. Thank You, Donnie

Easy setup is actually easy

I had prucased a 5.1 Onkyo receiver and gave up setting it up after three hours. I'd either get no video from my inputs, no sound, or both. After trying numerous options, I packed it up. I purchased this 7.1 receiver for $130 less and it checked off all the boxes. After I plugged everything it, it took me 15 minutes to get it working. The easy setup for speaker calibration was actually easy, and it told me that my subwoofer wasn't working properly. Duh, I didn't turn it on. I'kk revisit after I get a chance to properly use it, but I am so happy that it is up and running.
