I have it set up in the man cave. The wife tells me to turn it down at least twice a week. That's how I know it's working!

The separations that I heard between the speakers was better than what I had heard with other products tha cost more.

It was a pretty easy job to connect all of the speakers. I would say that it is a bit more difficult, at least for the novice, to figure out how to get the right sound balance. I have a L and R front speakers with a center speaker, sub-woofer, and 4 ceiling speakers. I still have not been able to get the sub to play. I don't know if I have something else that I need to select on the receiver or what. I do know that the sub was working prior to connecting this receiver, so it must be an easy fix (hopefully). The ceiling speakers seem to have a mind of their own as they don't work all of the time. I would recommend this receiver to anyone.

Great starter receiver

I have purchased 2 of them and I like it so far. If you’re building your first setup I recommend this receiver. If you‘re an audiophile and can differentiate the minor details in the audio quality, you should probably audition before buying one. Build quality is great, features are more than enough for a starter setup.
