Great budget receiver.

This Sony fit the bill nicely. Tons of quality of life upgrades: built in bluetooth, ARC single remote compatibility, quick set up and sound optimization with the set up microphone. The only thing I dislike so far, is specific manual sound configuration on the speakers set up seems a little more convoluted than my previous receiver. Overall, loving it so far though.

Love the menu and interface

I've only ever dealt with boxes where you had to look at the small LCD display. This guy will even auto tune your speakers for you with consideration of your room and placement. The passive speaker bar I had been using for over a year sounds SO much better now. I bought this during a sale and it was an open box. By the way, this was an unusually good open-box deal. Maybe BB is being a bit more generous with these.
