    Great value for the money. Hooked up to my Sony XBR 90 J TV and they work seemlessly together, Nices surrond separation. The on screen inteface is a bit dated but not hard to navigate

    I've had this receiver since the end of November; in early May the receiver would shut off every 20 minutes of use. I completed the factory troubleshooting recommendations and finally sent it back in to Best Buy to see if it could be exchanged. I was informed it would need to be sent out for repair, and was informed I would be without my product for two weeks. I tracked the status of the repair online and was astonished that almost a month later it was still in queue to be repaired. I emailed my representative and was informed that we were waiting on the main board to be shipped from the manufacturer. Once the month of waiting for the part had passed I was told I could receive a new product, but unfortunately I was out of town. By the time I got back in town, my repaired product was ready for pickup. I happily went to Best Buy to pick it up, but when I got it home, no sound would come out of my speakers. When I attempted to auto calibrate I received and error that said I had headphones plugged in. I DID NOT HAVE HEADPHONES PLUGGED IN. I took the product back to Best Buy and told them that the repair had been botched and that I had been a month waiting on a repair that they claimed had been completed, when, in fact, it had not been completed. I was told that corporate policy would not allow them to exchange my product for a new one, and that it had to be SENT BACK OUT FOR REPAIR...AGAIN. I asked the customer service representative how many times this would have to happen, she nudged my product sitting on the counter in an attempt to get me to leave the store for being "argumentative." I asked for the store manager and I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I was told in no uncertain terms that I would not get a new product to replace my broken one, and had to ship it back to the service center that messed up the repair to begin with. I gave it to them on Saturday and IT IS STILL WAITING TO BE SHIPPED ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON. The customer service that I have received is so sub-par that I will not purchase ANYTHING ELSE FROM BEST BUY...EVER AGAIN. I am thoroughly disappointed in my Sony product, AND the sub par care that I have received from Best Buy despite being a "Best Buy Member...never again...

    Very happy with the size and look of the unit. It is more compact than the Denon for the same price, and it has better menus and more connectivity and sound processing options. The only drawback is the HDMI seems to always default to the TV instead of the media player, but that might be me not having it set up correctly or Sony pushing it's own TV products. Not sure yet.
