A nice upgrade for 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos

Atmos and DTS:X sounds perfect, also I recommend getting SVS Prime Elevation Speakers for Atmos and DTS:X, the sound will blow you away.

Excellent receiver for the price

I have no major complaints and does what it's supposed to do. My only complaint is with the auto calibration. I would not use it. It set crossover frequencies much too high on all my speakers. After I manually set everything up, it sounded much better.

Very good receiver for my surround sound system

Specs seemed to match my requirements. They did not have it in stock at the first store I went to but they directed me to another Best Buy that was only 15 miles away. Brought it home and set it up that day. Works great.

This Sony meets my needs. My only criticism is that only the front L/R speaker connections accommodate my banana plugs and I have to use bare wires for all the others.

It is basic the same as 5.2 the receiver but this one has 7.2. More features and bigger receiver. It is better than pioneer I owned and it broke in a few days to exchange this Sony. Very simple calibration and set it to forget it. Pioneer is more complex calibration

Great Receiver!

It has almost all the bells and whistles that you could want but at heart it does a very good job on decoding the incoming signals. I have not problems with eARC connections and overall it just does a great job. Highly recommended.

Blue tooth connection works great to pair with phone to stream music. Only wish I’d that the remote would show volume level tv and satellite require much different settings Very pleased with the purchase

Good TV, some issues with WiFi and motion

There are some issues with motion since it seems blurred too often compared to an LG that I had before. Other than that it needs to be more responsive to WiFi and more stable overall.
