A nice upgrade for 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos

Atmos and DTS:X sounds perfect, also I recommend getting SVS Prime Elevation Speakers for Atmos and DTS:X, the sound will blow you away.

Sony 7.2 system

The Bluetooth pairing works just fine to stream media. The 4k passthrough is great. Obviously you'll need to purchase appropriate HDMI cables for passthrough. Install is just as easy as any other amplifier.

Makes it so much easier to centralize my game system, Blu-ray, and streaming services. Love the Bluetooth option to play my music too! Was a little difficult setting up but otherwise was great!

Specs seemed to match my requirements. They did not have it in stock at the first store I went to but they directed me to another Best Buy that was only 15 miles away. Brought it home and set it up that day. Works great.

I have no major complaints and does what it's supposed to do. My only complaint is with the auto calibration. I would not use it. It set crossover frequencies much too high on all my speakers. After I manually set everything up, it sounded much better.

Shutting down and Clicking sound

Started randomly shutting off initially and come back on as normally would. Then progressed to shutting off and started clicking sound at this point wouldn't come back on at all. I highly suggest Best Buy protection plan for any electronics that you buy. Sent in for diagnostic and they notified me it was approved for replacement. I won't purchase this one again.

This Sony meets my needs. My only criticism is that only the front L/R speaker connections accommodate my banana plugs and I have to use bare wires for all the others.
