I believe in my mind - you make a product you can turn up to ten - well you should able to - welll this one you can’t , it over heats and shuts down .

Thank you for the review and we do apologize for the inconvenience. When matching speakers and AV receiver, the ohm rating of the speaker should be equal to or greater than the ohm rating of the receiver to avoid a risk of hardware damage. We recommend connecting wired speakers with a nominal impedance of 6 ohms to 16 ohms. Also, make sure that the AV receiver have proper ventilation to prevent overheating.

I was hesitant about buying a receiver like this and I should have listened. I thought at this price point it would have been better. First, the menu is horribly slow to display on the tv. I know lots of receivers are but this was painful waiting to show up. The Bluetooth connection is horrendous and cuts in and out and quality is awful. If you use the volume keys on the tablet or phone it makes a clicking noise through the music with like micro pauses of sound with the clicks. Video quality could use some improvement. My streaming stick looks better connected to tv then through this. Room correction is just ok. Meh. Nothing to jump for joy over. The connections on the back are way too close together. If your not using banana jacks, good lunch making speaker connections. Not sure if the unit had something wrong but operating temps were off the charts. Even idle over night the next morning was more than warm. Borderline hot maybe. Cant recommend enough to stay away.

Decent but not fantastic

It has very few functions compared to similarly priced equipment by other manufacturers. It would have been nice if it had a pre-amp or multi-room output. Also, the inputs on the rear do not match the names of what they are on the remote or faceplate. The on-screen interface is nothing great either. Just a so-so piece of equipment, but I did get what I paid for.
