It's an average receiver
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hoping this receiver would be more powerful than the Harmon Kardon 1710, and on paper it should have been, but it doesn't appear to be. I had to go with it though because of the ARC HDMI handshake issue between my Sony Bravia and the HK receiver. It sounds fine, it's just not a power house.

Other wise it works as described.

The receiver kept turning off saying it was in protection mode. Any time I'd turn the volume a little higher, it would shut down when some loud sound was played whether it be on a tv show or a movie. I ended up taking this receiver back.
