If the customer needs (or wants) an AM receiver they should not purchase this receiver. We did not realize this when we made the purchase. Otherwise it is an adequate receiver.

Not as functional as replaced Sony AV

Only 1 function can be performed at a time. The Sony AV that I replaced would allow me to do this. I would think that new models would be atleast as functional as previous/older models. I would recommend this model only if this feature is not important to you.

Using the remote to set up the amp is beyond frustrating. Also could not get it coordinated with a 2017 Samsung 4K HDR TV. HDMI (arc) doesn't work. Sound quality is lacking.
